Camping
Camping in your own backyard?
Sounds a bit foolish, doesn’t it? But it isn’t foolish at
all. In fact, what a great compromise if you only have one night available
to camp. It won’t take as much time packing, getting there, setting
up and breaking down the next day. You can still have a great time with
the family if you stick to a few rules. Try to keep the house off limits
– other than the occasional trip to the bathroom! Don’t bring
out phones or electronic games. Use a charcoal grill as a campfire or
have a campfire in your yard if your town permits it. Try to bring out
all the essentials, flashlight, bug spray, sleeping bags or blankets,
and a good amount of stories or songs to sing. Click to return to Camping
101.
